In order to encourage animal husbandry and livestock production in Nigeria, a staunched member of the All Progressive Party APC Dr. Aliyu Oroji, has advocated for the the establishment of Ministry of Livestock Development in the country.
Fielding newsmen questions in Kaduna, Oroji noted that if established, its would go a long way in creating more job opportunity among Nigerians, especially for our teeming youths as well as, enhance the economy of Nigeria.
Oroji who is also the National President Real Estate Developers Developers Association of Nigeria, lamented that for long some Nigerians were kicking against the idea because of selfishness and hate for a particular ethnic group, pointing out that.
He further descried that even the Ruga settlement programme for the Fulani nomads, proposed by the federal government equally suffered set back as a result of the activities of such retrogressives who refused to support the idea.
While commenting on the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Oroji urged Nigerians especially youth to shun involving themselves from political violence, pointing out that for any meaningful political development to exist there must be maturity, tolerance and respect to the constituted authorities.
Dr Oroji also described as retrogressive indulging the youths party supporters in hard drugs and allicit substances to achieve political goals.
He also hails the APC campaign council for conducting a sussecful and peaceful Presidential rally in Jos, Plateau State, stressing that APC is the party to beat in 2023 in view of it transparent and committed leadership style which prompted development in the country.
