Ahead of the wedding ceremony of the daughter of former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Ambassador Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Lieutenant General rtd), TY Buratai Football Academy has lined up several friendly matches.
A statement signed by the The President of Buratai Academy, Engr. Hassan Mohammed (Sarkin Yakin Garkuwan Keffi) made available to newsmen on Thursday July 28, made this known.
“TY Buratai Football Academy has organised special friendly football matches in honour of Fatima Tukur Yusuf Buratai’s wedding, the Daughter of Amb. Lt. Gen. TY Buratai (Garkuwan Keffi), and former Chief of Army Staff,” the statement said.
It informed that the matches are meant to entertain guests from all over the country, who would be on ground to witness the wedding.
The matches are scheduled as follows, TY BURATAI ACADEMY FC KEFFI versus TY BURATAI ACADEMY FC BORNO on Friday July 29 by 4pm.
TY BURATAI ACADEMY FC versus
BIU UNITED FC BORNO on Saturday July 30 by 2:30pm, while the last match will feature
TY BURATAI ACADEMY FC locking horns with TUKUR AND TUKUR FC KADUNA by 8pm same day.
The statement informed that all the matches will be played at the Snake Farm Stadium Stadium Keffi.
