The led- faction of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), under the leadership of Abdulmaji Yakubu Daudu has elected Dr. Sani Salihu Mustpha as the Presidential flag bearer of the party for the 2023 presidential election.
The Delegates of the party, who hailed from the 36 state of the federation including Abuja, converged at the Arewa House kaduna and elected Dr. Sani unopposed.
In his welcome address at the occasion, the national chairman of the party Abdulmaji describe the event as unique, owing to the situation in which we found ourselves as the real PRP endorsed by the people yet in court with the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] and Dr. Falalu Bello over their attempt to usurp the party.
He added that this attempt, on the PRP’s life by people in power and authority, is not new, pointing out that as you are aware PRP was born in struggle.
According to him, but the party has always survived it tormentors form military to dictators to INEC bureaucracy, saying that all attempted to ban and deregister and undermine the PRP.
The chairman then noted that involvement in the forthcoming general elections is a call to duty or national salvation, noting that national survival goes beyond a single election, until victory for the masses in 2023 general election.
