The friendly match was aimed at preparing the Buratai FC in their quest of joining the Nationwide League 1 Division 2 which will start on May 21, 2022. The Kano state Pillars host T.Y. Buratai Academy in a friendly match.
The match which ended 2-1, most of the officials of the Burtai Academy commended the Ambassador of Nigeria to Benin Republic His Excellency Tukur Yusuf Buratai for his immense contribution and support to the academy.
In their respond during separate interviews with newsmen, they said all the success being achieved by the academy was due Buratai’s care and concern for the academy.
One of them who is an official in Buratai’s academy, Nura Salisu said, “We have being receiving massive support and cooperation from His Excellency Buratai and it is as a result of that the academy has being recording success”.
While Awwal Jos said all the achievement that the academy has being recorded in the academy was due to Buratai’s support.
Abbas Gaza who is one of the coordinator of Nigerian Football Association NFA commended Buratai for this gesture of nation’s building through sporting activities.
