As the recent leadership crisis In ruling APC was resolved, the Secretary Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission Dr Mohammed Bello Shehu, has expressed optimism that the proposed Saturdays National Convention of the Party would be successful .
Shehu who is also an APC chieftain stated this in telephone interview, added that the sub-committees have already been constituted at the national level of the party, while at the state levels efforts are being geared towards the success of the convention of the APC .
While commenting on Governor Mai Mala Buni leadership as the Chairman Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC he noted is worthy of emulating .
Commenting on the proposed launching of Maize Pyramids by President Muhammadu Buhari in kaduna, he described the move as a step forward towards boosting agricultural production by the present admiration in the country .
He contended that the Anchor Borrowers Agricultural Programme of the government through the Central Bank of Nigeria is yielding the much needed result.
Shehu advised all category of farmers to emulate embrace the scheme to enhance their farming activities and be abreast of new agricultural devices for enhanced food production .
On the CBN’s plan to grant loans to Sheep and Goats rearing, he applauded the gesture, stressing that apart from enhancing revenue generation people at the grassroots would be economically empowered.
