As parties prepare to hold primaries ahead 2023 General Election, former Federal Legislator, Hon. Shehu Bawa popularly called ABG has commenced ward visitation to inform PDP executives of his intention to contest as a member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency.
ABG commenced the consultation visits to officially inform party Excos at local government and ward level with Liman, Mai Burji and Shaba wards, all in Kaduna North.
While assuring party Excos of good representation, the politician expressed readiness to carry along all stakeholders in key legislative decisions when elected in 2023.
He declared that politics was all about service to the people, ensuring their warfare, needs and well-being given the attention required.
The House of Reps hopeful solicited the supports and votes of party Excos who would be delegates at primaries, enjoining them to put interest of constituency and people above personal advantages, saying the present and future generations would be proud of their patriotism and passion for development and progress of the society.
” I am here to formally inform you that I am offering myself in your service as your steward in the House of Reps in the forthcoming primary election of our great party.
” It is the love for our dear party that We decided to stay behind and remain put when others were leaving inspite of all the insults We get from the ruling party.
” I pledge to serve you with diligence, commitment and above all your interest at heart and our dear constituents.
” We must all come together to rescue our great nation from the present sorry state it has been plunged into by the ruling APC.
” It is our collective efforts in ensuring the enthronement of aspirants with proven integrity and commendable antecedents in service to party, people and country.
” I solicit your votes in the forthcoming primary elections as member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, ” he said.
