It has been attributed that the roles in societal development in the country is pivotal and can not be relegated to the background.
The assertion was made by the national coordinator of Political Discuss an non governmental organization Alh. Umar Balogun on the one day sensitization programme organized in collaboration with National Youths Council of Nigeria, Zamfara state Chapter Thursday in Gusau.
According to him, the programme was aimed at to sensitize Youths on the significance of peaceful, unity and progress among Nigerian youths.
Balogun stated that the youths have been a constitute hop for greater future and meaningful development of any country in all spheres.
“As youths, we are characterized as ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic and promising”. He said
According to him, youths in the country are notable change agents and drivers of societal transformation in business, technology, politics among others.
He stated that the institutions in the country must be populated with youths of great idea otherwise those institutions will be collapse.
Balogun urged youths in the country to remove any form of ethnicity and religious bigotry in dealing with each other for the development of the country.
In a goodwill message, the Zamfara state chairman of the Nigeria Labor Congress NLC, Comrade. Bello Halliru described the one day sensitization programme as welcome development as it would serve as a yardstick in brainstorming youths to know the tasks ahead of them .
