Food Eating competition To Hold in Abuja by November

A nation wide food eating competition is going to take place soon and it aimed seeking out those talented in eating food as well as encouraging people to be more open and easy going

‘Chop Chop Naija’ which is the tagged given to the food eating competition is organised by La~breakout Media Nigeria Limited.
According to the Chief organiser, Laz Olive:

“This is the first Nationwide food eating contest. And the organisers are hoping to have contestants from every corner of the country participating.
The competition is aimed at promoting unity amongst Nigeria.

Mr .Okibe furthers stressed that the competition is also aimed at engendering closeness,unity and love between family members that is in addition to promoting tourism in the country.

“In Africa, meal time is one of the most unifying times of our culture where all members of the family come together to eat from the same plate. This strenghtens the bonds between families. And this is what ‘Chop Chop Naija’ is set out to capture.

“Apart from unity, the competion is poised to promote tourism in NIgeria because we are working to making sure this becomes an international annual event.

This year will mark the maiden edition of the event. And it will hold at City Park in Wuse 2, Abuja.

The event has been schedule to hold on 27th November, 2021. And the time is 10:00 am prompt.

According to Mr Oyibi , the competition will also be an opportunity discover talents who may possibly represent Nigeria in related events at the international level

“We see food eating as a talent and we will be so glad to help discover this talents in Nigerians.

“Maybe some day food eating will be included in the Olympics as a real sport. We don’t see any reason why not.
He further expanded on why they came out with a broad but extensive program such as eating competition

“As the organisers, we are all out to promote the different kinds of foods and drinks we have in Nigeria, as such, the contesttans will only be served Nigerian dishes and delicacies and drinks.

The event is going to be heavily loaded with tonnes of music, dance and comedy, he said
