The Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, Chairman Northern Speakers Forum Rt Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani Garkuwan Musabakar Al’Qurani has felicitates with Muslims Ummah for witnessing the commencement of yet another Ramadan fasting 1442AH
Zailani urged the Islamic faithful to pray relentlessly during the fasting period for Allah’s mercy for everlasting peace in the country, .
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief of Staff to the Speaker Haruna Jafaru Sambo, and made available to the press on Tuesday in Kaduna
According to him, sacrifice and increased prayers are important and critical at this time when we are fighting a vicious Coronavirus pandemic that Allah is helping us to put an end to and insecurity in our country.
“Please use the opportunity of this month of blessings to seek Allah’s forgiveness and pray for peace” he said.
Zailani further admonished Muslims to tune their minds to the messages of love, brotherliness and peaceful co-existence inherent in the messages of the Holy Prophet, while also being their brothers’ keepers.
“I wish to enjoin them to extend their hands of fellowship to other fellow Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
“It is only by doing this coupled with sharing whatever they have with others, particularly the less-privileged in the society; that their supplications can be answered and the world will be a good place to live in for all and sundry.
“These acts would help the less privileged in the society and reduce hunger, poverty and misery confronting the people”.
The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum wished the Islamic faithful a successful fasting period while praying to Allah to grant everyone the strength needed.
