The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum, Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, RT Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani Garkuwan Musabakar Qurani, Chiroman Dan Darman Zazzau, has received with sadness, the news of the demise of the Matawallen Gundumar Rigasa Malam Alaramma Sunusi who died late hours of Sunday.
This was contained in a condolence message made available to newsmen in Kaduna by the Chief of Staff to the Speaker Haruna Jafaru Sambo on Tuesday.
The Speaker said the demise of the traditional Leader, especially at this time, is a great loss not only to the Rigasa District but Kaduna state in general.
He described the monarch as an exemplary leader and a man of peace who throughout his lifetime, was known for preaching and promoting unity and harmony among the diverse peoples of his domain, and the state at large.
The Kaduna Speaker consoled the bereaved to take solace in the fact that the late Matawallen Gundumar Rigasa left behind legacies of honour, dignity and selfless service, urging them to uphold and sustain same.
The Speaker, on behalf of the Kaduna State Assembly and people of Kaduna state, extended his heartfelt condolences to District Head of Rigasa Arch Aminu Idris Dan Galadiman Zazzau, members of Zazzau royal family over the great loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased monarch Aljannat Firdaus and comfort those he left behind.
