The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division, Abdul Khalifa Ibrahim has been decorated to the enviable rank of Major General in the Nigerian Army.
He was Brigadier General now Major General.
The indefatigable GOC in his hardwork and commitment in the war against insurgency in the North East earned him the well deserved promotion.
The GOC 7 Division Nigerian Army was found worthy to benefit from the recent promotion and was Decorated to the enviable rank by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai at the Command Officers’ Mess Asokoro, Abuja on December 4, 2020.
The Chief Of Army Staff in his remarks, congratulated the senior officers and urged them to be loyal, committed, disciplined and hardworking in the discharge of their constitutional role.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian Army on November 25, 2020 approved the promotion of senior officers to their next higher ranks.
At that ceremony, 39 Brigadier Generals were elevated to the enviable rank of Major General.
