Today 13th October, 2020 a support group for Engr Hon Muhammad Usman Maku was launched today in Sabon Gari Local Government of Kaduna State.
The Convener of the Movement drew the executives across the 11 wards of the Local Government with the aim of declaring their support for the incumbent Executive Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government in person of Engr Hon Muhammad Usman Maku.
The Convener of the Engr Next Step 2021 Movement in person of Prince Mukhtar Zubairu while addressing newsmen shortly after the meeting said it has become paramount for them as progressives to call on Hon Engr Usman to seek for a second term as the Executive Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government. He added that the were ready to purchase the form for the seat of Chairman in the next local government polls when the time comes because Engr Usman have written his name with a golden Ink not just in Sabon Gari Local Government but Kaduna State atlarge as he emulates the Leadership styles of His Excellence Mal Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufa’i.
Further more, he called on progressive youths to support the movement for a better and greater Sabon Gari as development are ongoing in all parts of the local government which have never been experienced over time.
When the Convener was asked if the Chairman was aware of this giant movement, he responded that this is a program self organized devoid of any inputs or support from any quotas but a movement organized by youths who are progressives and have the interest of Sabon Gari Local Government at heart.
He added that in the shortest period of time, numerous programs would be rolled out to keep the group on top gear.
Engr Next Step 2021 Movement has come to stay and shall be part of the machineries that shall partake in ensuring that the re-election bid on Hon Muhammad Usman Maku is achieved In Sha Allah he concluded.
