The founder Zailani Absolute Care foundation and Speaker Kaduna state house of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani on Sunday, mourned the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Dr. Shehu Idris, who died on Sunday 20th September 2020 at 44 reference hospital kaduna
His condolence message was contained in a statement signed by the Chief of Staff to the Speaker Kaduna state house of Assembly Haruna Jafaru Sambo and made available to the press.
The statement read, “ the founder Zailani absolute care foundation and Speaker Kaduna State House of assembly extends heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Kaduna State and Nigeria in general on the passing of Emir of Zazzau, Alh. Dr. Shehu Idris”
“The founder of the foundation also commiserates with the royal family and the Zazzau Emirate Council on the death of His Royal Highness who for 45 years had the privilege of leading the people of Zazzau with diligence and dedication.”
“Rt. Hon Yusuf Zailani affirms that the Emir who was a strong advocate for peace and development in the Northern region, demonstrated visionary leadership that was very evident to all, including his efforts to modernise Zazzau by supporting the establishment of educational institutions in the Zazzau emirate.”
“The Speaker notes that the Emir’s style of servant leadership for over four decades earned him the trust and respect of his community, contemporaries and Nigerians from diverse political, social and religious leanings”.
“He believes that the Emir’s good works will continue to be remembered and cherished in his community and the wider region of the Northern Nigeria, praying almighty God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest and comfort to the people of Zazzau during this time of mourning.”
