Zamfara Indigenes residing in Kaduna have eulogized Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state for completing the state’s liaison office , saying the edifice was second to none amongst its peers in Nigeria.
Alhaji Samaila Ibrahim Anka who spoke to newsmen as Chairman of Zamfara indigenes residing in Kaduna disclosed that the liaison office would serve as a unifying rendezvous and symbol of greatness for all Zamfara Indigenes , adding that they would on their part give their support and make the Governor proud by being good ambassadors of Zamfara.
He explained that Governor Matawalle since assumption of office last year had achieved a lot in areas of security , education , infrastructure development , youth and women empowerment among others , adding that the Governor would do more to develop the state to be a role model for others.
” This Liaison office adjudged to be the best in Nigeria will promote good image of our state and serve as a rallying point for all Zamfara indigenes , residents of kaduna.
” Prior to the modernization of our liaison office , our friends from other states like Katsina , Sokoto , Kebbi used to make jest of us , saying we had an archaic Liaison office , but today we can beat our chests and raise our shoulders high courtesy of Governor Matawalle for making us proud.
” The amiable Governor has touched virtually sensitive areas that needed attention within one year of his stewardship .
” People of Zamfara , irrespective of party affiliations are singing the praises of Governor Matawalle who has given governance new meaning , who has proven that governance is about service to the people and putting their interests first and above anything.
” We , in Kaduna as indigenes of Zamfara will continue to pray for success of the Governor , peace , unity and progress of Zamfara State under the able leadership of Governor Bello Matawalle. ” He said.
