Gen Buratai Impress By Renovation Works on Soldiers’ Accommodation in Commila Barracks

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work going on at the 44 Reference Hospital (Comilla Barracks) when he paid an assessment visit of the ongoing renovation works today in Kaduna.

Gen Buratai was represented by the Chief Of Training and Operations Army, Major General Nuhu Angbazo accompanied by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division as well as some senior Army officers on the assessment visit.

Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa in an interview with newsmen at 44 Barracks, said that they were there at the instance of the COAS to assess the progress of renovation works at Commilla Barracks.

While briefing the press at the project site, the Colonel Sagir Musa said ‘As you, can see the the Chief of Training and Operations of the Nigerian Army and the GOC I Division are here. We are here on behalf of COAS to assess the ongoing project at Comilla Barracks, and that the work has reached an appreciable level of progress’, he said. He also said the Chief of Army Staff is taking the welfare of Army personnel and their families seriously, hence, the continuous renovation of almost all Nigerian army Barracks across the nation.
