Expert commends Gov Matawalle on Healthcare delivery.

Zamfara State Goveronor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has been given a pass mark for establishing Zamfara State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency with a view to improve healthcare program for the people of the state.

The commendation was made by the Executive Secretary, Zamfara State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency, ZAMCHEMA, Dr. Yusuf Abubakar in an interview with Blueprint in his office Wednesday.

According to him, the program will go along way in assisting the state Civil servants, informal sectors as well as organized private sectors to benefit from the Universal health insurance scheme initiated by the state government.

Dr. Yusuf Abubakar also commended Goveronor Bello Mohammed Matawalle for support given to health sector particularly the state Contributory Healthcare Management Agency for initiating the state Universal Health Insurance Programme that will touch the yearning and aspirations of the good people of the state in the area of Healthcare delivery.

He said, the agency will collaborate with National Health Insurance Scheme, under the program, in which the state Civil Servants will contribute three percent of their Salary for proper implementation of the program for their benefit.

He explained that the Agency will contributes immensely for the Enlightenment campaign to the entire people of the state about the significance of the scheme, adding that provision was made by the Agency to ensure every citizens benefit from the scheme in the state.

Dr. Yusuf Abubakar also called on the entire people of the state to support the state government and Zamfara State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency in an effort to improve healthcare delivery services for them.
