Coalition of Veterans Commends Gen Buratai For His kind Gesture to Pa Paul Ojo, Provides 3 Bedrooms Bungalow

While stating that no.politician no matter how highly.placed should be allowed to treat Amy veteran with disrespect,  Coalition of Concerned Veterans (CCV) has commended the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai for coming to their aid from alleged humiliation from Kaduna State Government.
This was expressed in a statement jointly signed by MWO Yusuf Usman, Chairman Mando Ex-servicemen Association, Spokesperson – CCV Kaduna State Chapter,  Vet Cmdr Dr Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu, Secretary VFN Stearing committee, Deputy National Coordinator REMENAF, Northern Coordinator – CCV,  Veteran Cdr. Abiodun Durowaiye-Herberts, Secretary VFN implementation Cttee,  National Coordinator REMENAF, Chairman BOT REMENAF FOUNDATION,National Spokesperson – CCV and Brig. Gen. Harold Uwem Udokwere (Rtd), REMENAF National Chairman,  National President – CCV.

“The Coalition of Concerned Veterans (CCV) wishes to most sincerely thank the Chief Of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai for coming to our aid in our collective resolve to seek justice for our members who were unjustifiably molested, intimidated and humiliated allegedly on the order of the Kaduna State Government. 

“As a coalition group, we took the initial step at visiting the victims at their location in Kaduna in solidarity and further sought to officially take our campaign further to appropriate authorities until COAS was sent in to make our assignment much easier by having us cross the first and most humiliating hurdle. 

“No politician, no matter how higly placed should be allowed to treat any Veteran with disrespect having laboured to keep this country united and providing the peaceful atmosphere for democracy to thrive,” it said. 

The group said that words will never be adequate enough to appreciate Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai for this commendable gesture at this very trying moment for the victims. 

“The entire Veterans community which we represent look forward to paying a thank you visit to the Chief of Army Staff soon and at his convince.

“May Allah see you through in the enormous tasks of restoring permanent peace in the North East and the country in general and at the end of your ordained assignment to this country, it is our prayers that all your efforts will be adequately rewarded on earth and in the hereafter. 

“Please accept our most sincere appreciation on behalf of the Veterans community in Nigeria Sir,” it concluded.
